Don Maximino and his family live 3hrs from the nearest road, surrounded by primary rainforest. Until now, they have struggled to survive using slash and burn farming, destroying the rainforest in the process. But now, with our help, they are converting to Inga alley cropping, meaning the family can finally gain food security and the rainforest a safe future.
