We are working one family at a time to tackle the huge threat that slash-and-burn poses. As well as protecting the rainforest, taking up Inga alley cropping allows families to escape the self-perpetuating cycle of slash-and-burn farming and gain genuine food security and a sustainable livelihood.

Protecting Pico Bonito Rainforest, Honduras

Slash-and-burn poses a grave threat to rainforests worldwide. Our Land for Life project in Honduras is working to protect the biodiversity-rich rainforest of Pico Bonito National Park.
